RSS Source
Use RSS as your ShowHub source when your podcast host is the system of record for episode publishing.
How to sync content from RSS
Open RSS connector
Go to Setup Wizard or Connectors, then select RSS.
Paste your feed URL
Enter the full feed URL from your host platform and save.
Confirm imported episodes
Review Episodes to make sure titles, dates, artwork, and audio links look right.
What sync includes
- Episode title, publish date, description, artwork, and enclosure URL.
- Automatic page draft generation for imported episodes.
- Ongoing checks for newly published feed items.
Best practices
- Keep feed metadata complete (especially artwork and episode descriptions).
- Avoid changing episode GUIDs after publishing to reduce duplicates.
- Validate feed XML when imports fail or partial data appears.
- Recheck the feed whenever you change podcast hosting providers.
Troubleshooting shortcuts
- Full RSS connector reference: Dashboard -> Connectors -> RSS.
- If no episodes import, open the feed URL in a browser and confirm valid XML renders.
- If artwork is missing, ensure your host includes image fields in the feed.
