RSS Connector
The RSS connector imports episodes from any valid RSS feed.
Setup
Open connector settings
Go to Episodes -> Sources (or the Connect step in the Setup Wizard).
Click RSS
Select the RSS tile.
Paste the feed URL
Enter the full feed URL (e.g. https://anchor.fm/s/abc123/podcast/rss).
Save
Click Save - ShowHub fetches and imports the feed.
Finding your RSS URL
Most publishing platforms provide an RSS feed URL:

What gets imported
- Episode title, description, and artwork.
- Enclosure (audio) URL and duration.
- Publish date.
Verification
After connecting, open Episodes and confirm:
- Recent episodes appear with the correct titles and dates.
- Artwork thumbnails loaded properly.
- Episode count matches what you expect from the feed.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Fix |
|---|---|
| No episodes imported | Verify the URL returns valid XML. Try opening it in a browser. |
| Missing artwork | The feed may not include <itunes:image> tags. Add them at the host level. |
| Duplicate episodes | Check that the feed doesn’t publish the same <guid> twice. |
