Provider Guides

Show Hub detects your DNS provider automatically and shows these steps in the dashboard with your exact values. They’re collected here for reference. Not sure which provider you use? It’s usually where you bought the domain. Show Hub tells you after you type the domain.

In every case: Host is the part before your domain (listen, www, or @ for the bare domain), and the value comes from your dashboard.

Cloudflare

Quick Connect available (paste a token once).

1. Open your domain → DNS → Records → Add record.
2. Choose the type, paste Name and Target / IPv4 address.
3. Set Proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud).
4. Save.

GoDaddy

One-click via Domain Connect once GoDaddy approves Show Hub.

1. My Products → your domain → DNS.
2. Add New Record, choose the type, enter Name and Value.
3. If a record with the same name exists (GoDaddy often has a default www or parked @), edit it instead of adding a second one.
4. Save.

Namecheap

1. Domain List → Manage → Advanced DNS.
2. Under Host Records click Add New Record, pick the type, enter Host and Value. Leave TTL on Automatic.
3. Remove any URL Redirect or parking record for the same host.
4. Click the green check.

Squarespace Domains (including former Google Domains)

1. Sign in at account.squarespace.com (Google Domains customers: use your Google account).
2. Domains → your domain → DNS → DNS Settings.
3. Under Custom Records click Add Record, enter Host and Data.
4. Remove Squarespace Defaults on the same host if present.

Amazon Route 53

Quick Connect available (access key with Route 53 record permissions).

1. Hosted zones → your domain → Create record.
2. Record name: the subdomain, or blank for the bare domain. Pick the type, paste the value, TTL 300, routing Simple.
3. Create records.

Porkbun

Quick Connect available (turn on API Access for the domain first).

1. Domain Management → Details → DNS Records.
2. Choose the type, enter Host (blank for bare domain) and Answer.
3. Delete Porkbun’s default parking ALIAS/CNAME on the same host.

Gandi

Quick Connect available (personal access token).

1. Your domain → DNS Records → Add record.
2. Enter Name and value. Gandi needs a trailing dot on CNAME targets (cname.vercel-dns.com.).

DigitalOcean · Vercel DNS · Netlify DNS

Quick Connect available for all three. Manually: open the domain’s DNS page, add a record with the type, name and value from your dashboard, and save.

Hover

1. Your domain → DNS tab → Add a record.
2. Enter Hostname and the value, then save.

IONOS

One-click via Domain Connect once IONOS approves Show Hub.

1. Domains & SSL → the gear next to your domain → DNS.
2. Add record, enter Host name and Points to. Confirm if IONOS asks to replace an existing record.

Wix

1. Domains → ⋯ next to your domain → Manage DNS Records.
2. Under the record type, click + Add Record, enter Host name and value, then save.

Anyone else

Look for DNS settings, DNS records, Zone editor or Advanced DNS where your domain is managed, add the record from your dashboard, and save. Stuck? Send it to your tech person.
