One-click & Quick Connect
Show Hub can add your DNS records for you in two ways. Both only touch the records your site needs, nothing else on your domain.
One-click (Domain Connect)
Domain Connect is an open standard supported by DNS providers such as GoDaddy, Cloudflare, IONOS, Squarespace, WordPress.com and Plesk.
Click “Connect with your provider”
After you enter your domain, the One-click tab appears if your provider supports it.
Sign in at your provider
You’re sent to your provider’s own site. Show Hub never sees your password.
Review and approve
Your provider lists exactly which records will be added. Approve, and you’re sent back to Show Hub while we finish up.
Quick Connect (paste a token once)
For providers with a DNS API, you can create a token, paste it into Show Hub, and we add the records.
| Provider | What to paste | Where to create it |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | API token (DNS edit + Zone read) | Show Hub links to a pre-filled token page |
| DigitalOcean | API token (domain read + update) | Account → API → Tokens |
| Vercel DNS | Access token (+ team ID if the domain is in a team) | Account settings → Tokens |
| Porkbun | API key + secret key (turn on API Access for the domain) | Account → API Access |
| Gandi | Personal access token (domain technical configuration) | Organization → Personal access tokens |
| Netlify DNS | Personal access token | User settings → Applications |
| Amazon Route 53 | Access key ID + secret (Route 53 record permissions) | IAM → Users → Security credentials |
If a record already exists
If the host you chose already points somewhere else (for example, the bare domain serves another website), Show Hub stops and asks before replacing it. Text and mail records (Google verification, SPF/DKIM) are always added alongside existing ones, never replaced.
Providers without either option
GoDaddy’s API is limited to large accounts, and Namecheap’s API requires IP allow-listing, so for those (unless one-click is available) Show Hub shows guided manual steps. It takes about two minutes.
