Getting StartedConnect First Source

Connect First Source

ShowHub pulls episodes from multiple supported sources, including YouTube, RSS, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, and X. Most teams start with one source during onboarding, then add more later.

During the Setup Wizard

The wizard’s Connect step lets you link a platform in a few clicks:

Pick a platform

Click the platform tile for the source you publish on.

Authenticate or enter URL

  • OAuth sources (for example YouTube, TikTok, Twitch) require a quick connect flow.
  • URL-based sources (for example RSS, Spotify, Apple Podcasts) require your show/feed URL.

Confirm

ShowHub starts the first sync automatically.

After onboarding

You can add or remove sources any time from Episodes -> Sources, or click Add source on the sync map at the top of Episodes. See Sources for platform-specific setup, sync, and best-practice guides.

What happens during sync

  • ShowHub imports episode titles, descriptions, artwork, and publish dates.
  • On Pro and above, transcripts are generated automatically.
  • Depending on feed size, the first sync can take a few seconds to a few minutes.
  • Check progress in Episodes. The sync map at the top shows each source with a line into Your site and how many episodes came from it. Click Sync now to pull new episodes right away.

Choose what a source pulls

By default YouTube pulls every public video on your channel. To change that, open Episodes and click YouTube on the sync map. In the drawer you can pull from One playlist instead, skip short videos or a date range with Only include…, and check the Preview before you click Save & sync. See YouTube sync settings for every option.
