SSL Troubleshooting

Show Hub issues an SSL certificate automatically once your DNS points at us. The status in Dashboard → Publish → Domain & hosting always says what it’s waiting for. Here’s how to read it.

Status messageWhat to do
Waiting for DNS: add CNAME…The record isn’t visible yet. Add it, or wait a few minutes if you just did.
…currently points to something-elseAn old record is still there. Delete or edit it so the host points only at Show Hub.
…is behind Cloudflare’s proxyIn Cloudflare, switch the record to DNS only (grey cloud).
One more record: add the _vercel TXT recordYour domain was used elsewhere before. Add the extra TXT record shown in your list.
DNS is right — waiting for our hosting to see itNothing to do. This usually clears within a minute or two.
Issuing your SSL certificateNothing to do. Usually under a minute.

Checklist

Compare records exactly

A single typo or extra character prevents the certificate. Use the copy buttons rather than typing.

Remove conflicting records

A host can have either a CNAME or A/AAAA records. Delete any leftovers, including parking or URL-forwarding records at your registrar.

Check propagation

Open Watch it spread. If most locations show red (old value), the old record’s TTL hasn’t expired yet. Waiting is the only fix.

Check now

Click Check now to re-run every check immediately. Show Hub also checks automatically: often at first, then less frequently over the next few days.
